Robust Verbs-MPSJ

Heroin addicts committing crimes to feed their addictions is a harrowing problem in Vancouver. The “free heroin for addicts” program only aims to lower the crime rate, not to help those suffering from addiction. Addiction hinders the daily activities of users. Addicts go to great lengths in their desperation for drugs, including breaking and entering and theft, in order to fuel their addiction. The “free heroin for addicts” program will not ween addicts off of drugs and only aims to lower the city’s rising crime rate. Removing addicts from the streets lessens the crime rate caused by these people. Providing addicts with clean drugs and needles keeps them from constant hospital visits and subsequent medical debt. The programs efforts will overall help the city but will not help these people recover from their addiction.
