Marijuana should be leagilized in many states for the positive medical side effects it provides to people.

Background/Evidence

The legalization of marijuana will reduce harm. When marijuana is use and sold people can get into messes with drug deals which are obviously illegal and it causes the crime rates to rise. If marijuana is regulated it will lower the crime rates when it is available for people more at hand rather then people having to deal it to others. It will also create jobs and bring one of the nation’s largest cash crops under the rule of law. This will create jobs and economic opportunities in the formal ways.
Marijuana product testing is becoming a standard requirement in order for the drug to be legalized and sold. This means consumers get more information on products before they used them.
