LTE Homework—hershey

While reading the article, “ An Hourly Worker’s For the President”, by Joseph Henderson, the writer expresses his thoughts on how opposed he is towards the working wages. His main arguments were concerning how the policies should be revised by the current president. Henderson was able to show proper credentials to back up his reasoning as in why he stands applicable to stating his claim, being he is “a 65-year-old hourly employee at a hotel in Durham, N.C.”

The writers letter was an overall attempt at fulfilling the requirements of a properly published letter, however there are components that Henderson lacked, such as facts to better prove his argument. The writer also had a clear proposal which shows how he hoped for a change within the laws regarding wages from the presidents end.

Fair work but vague, Hershey, as in this statement that should describe the author’s objections, but doesn’t: “His main arguments were concerning how the policies should be revised by the current president.” It says that his argument IS ABOUT policies, but that’s all.
