Nothing is ever good for you, and in this generation it is getting easier to see that. From generations before us we learned about the dangers of smoking and what it can do to your body. We have now come to find out that it is no longer just cigarettes that cause harm. It is almost every smoking device that we have nowadays. Experts are telling us that E-cigs and vaping devices are doing almost the same amount of harm or maybe even worse then cigarettes do.

There is an epidemic right now on the amount of people getting hospitalized from vaping and e-cigs. Most of these victims fall in the late teens and 20’s range. The most common side effects are fever, fatigue, vomiting, and shortness of breath. It is hard to find the cause of all of this, but The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are starting off with telling people to stop buying vaping products that are not real or that are bootleg. This allows them to try and figure out what the root of the problem is and how to fix it. In todays society it is so easy to start vaping or using e-cigs, even at a young age people are easily able to access them. That is why this is becoming such an epidemic so quickly. That is also why it needs to be stopped quickly as well.

Each day we are getting closer and closer to legalizing marijuana in more states. Dr. Scott Gottlieb, the former commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration tells us that is not marijuana that is the problem, it is the THC that is being melted down into oils, where from here gets other things added into it so it tastes better. There are millions of flavors out there, and most of the times victims don’t even know what they are smoking.

This generation is starting to be on the same path as the previous ones because of the THC oils they are messing with. They are not meant to be vaporized and that is the main cause to all of the hospitalizations that are happening right now do to smoking. People of this generation need to really learn about the things they are letting into their body because sooner rather then later they’re going to have early deaths caused by damage to the lungs, just like the generations before us did with cigarettes.

You do promote a particular point of view (more or less: Just Say No), LG, but you seem to be misusing the evidence a bit. Not marijuana, not THC, but the oils used to vaporize the THC are the most likely culprit for the illnesses and deaths as of the date of your writing. I wonder why you didn’t just recommend sticking with non-THC non-flavored vapes from legitimate brands for anyone who’s already addicted to nicotine.
